*Budapest Memorial USDF Award Honorees

*Budapest Memorial Dressage Award

In honor of the champion Shagya-Arabian Stallion *Budapest (Shagal [Shagya III] x *Biala), WineGlass Farm has donated the PShR *Budapest Memorial USDF Award. In 1992 *Budapest received two USDF All-Breed recognitions, one from NASS and the other from the Arabian Sport Horse Association, Inc (ASHAI). To date, he remains the only Shagya-Arabian breeding stallion to receive USDF All-Breed Award recognition. In addition, *Budapest is the only Shagya-Arabian stallion in North America to be ranked as a USEF Leading Dressage Sire.

To encourage and challenge others to make this commitment in open competition with a Shagya-Arabian or Shagya Sporthorse, the *Budapest Memorial award has been established for the annual high point individual per division. Horses must be registered with the Performance Shagya-Arabian Registry.
